As Nigeria’s Ruger links up with Pretoria based singer, MC Morena who represents the country’s music form known as Barcadi – a new tune christened “Private Chef”, and it’s placed on Ruger’s next, set for 2026 which he’ll be releasing via R.U.( Raw & Unfiltered) Vol 1. The added South African representation means that Ruger’s project is to be infused with some South African sound and this hints that a good chunk of his exploration within the past year of trends and music from SA should see the representation.
This addition also means he now presents one from the nation the Barcadi singer represents.
One of six tracks present on the record – his chosen fellow features, MC Morena joins forces at track three where his other appearances make up three special placements of guest singers, but at three minutes and 21 secs long- Private Chef, is his extended play – making the one featured slot. Apart fromMC Morena – it makes one of two representations of South Africa on R.U( Raw & Unfiltered) VOl 1 with both M Musa Keyz and Young Stunna also placed on the track list further emphasising Ruger’s growing and evolving connection with South African sounds.
