Jude Abaga, a well-known rapper from Nigeria who goes by the stage name M.I Abaga, has openly praised his wife, Eniola Mafe, for always being there for him in his music career and business projects.

M.I Abaga said on the Outside The Box podcast that his wife has played a big role from the start of his business, TASCK, as she was the first to give money when he was trying to get funding.

Besides giving money, M.I stressed that she also helps him with his creative work, noting that she often goes with him to recording studios, watches his performances, and even sits in on his business meetings, all while keeping up with her own job.

He said, “My wife is the person who supports me the most. When I first began to collect funds for my business—TASCK—she was the first one who wrote me a cheque. She also backs how I create my music. She shot many of my short videos online. She is always there for me. I even tell her about things I don’t need her opinion on because maybe I haven’t thought enough about something, and she has already written a very long report. She is the biggest supporter I have. It’s really great to have her. She comes to the shows, she travels with me, she is with me when I’m recording, she is with me on designs. Sometimes, she comes to hear me at meetings. And she has her own job, but every time she is not working, she comes to me. She is the most supportive person.”

M.I’s honest praise shows how important Eniola is when no one is watching.
