Falz shares his worries about what it will be like to raise children in Nigeria in the coming years

Falz acknowledged that the question of whether he would think about raising his kids in the country was challenging and that he hadnt given it much thought. His concerns about Nigerias ongoing insecurity economic volatility and the risks to his personal safety associated with his vocal activism were sincere. Falz said Thats a deep question.

Although I havent given it much thought I cant say yes to it right now because of the insecurity threats from my activism and even the complacency of Nigerians toward these problems.

 

The Bop Daddy singer who is well-known for his fervently pro-Nigerian views expressed optimism about the future of the nation in spite of his worries saying that although he isnt prepared to rule it out entirely he also cant give a definitive yes.

Its really depressing but I cant say no outright either because Im a strong supporter of Nigeria and think we can still make things right.

He laughed and added I dont know lets see. .

 

Falz a single man without children has been a strong opponent of social injustice and government policies in Nigeria. He was a leading figure in the EndSARS demonstrations and has used his position to push for accountability and human rights.
